We had some of Nick's colleagues from Fermilab visiting us on Saturday evening. Ville was first a bit confused seeing so many people again, after just spending time with mum and dad in the house, but quickly he started to bring them books to read and toys to play. He is anyway quite easy going with new people and doesn't really hesitate to touch and go near anybody.

On Sunday, we headed to a little village called St. Charles for a dragon boat race. It is a kind of a village party near a river where different teams battle big dragon boats  - Fermilab had their team in the race, of course. Here the whole family:


So weekend is done again, time anyway flies differently on weekends compared to Mon-Fri when Nick is working and I spending time alone with Ville at home.

--- Viikonloppu meni liiankin nopeasti, ja huomisen maanantaiaamun myötä uusi arkiviikko nostaa päätään. Harmittaa miten nopeasti nämä kaksi päivää meni, ihan liian vikkelästi. Tänään sunnuntaina ajeltiin hieman kauempana, kävimme hurraamassa Fermilabin joukkuetta paikallisen pikkukylän lohikäärmevenekilpailussa. Kyläjuhlat olivat ihan samanlaiset kuin missä tahansa muuallakin, eli ruokakojuja, rihkamakoruja, koirashowta, ihmisiä picnicillä.. Ville pääsi myös keinumaan päivän päätteeksi.
